Yeah I saw that video. Problem is, I've heard horror stories of even when they were new, the alarms would frequently fail and people just bypassed them or put on those "wonderful" 80's and 90's aftermarket alarms "Warning! Protected by Viper!"

He's a great guy - lives about 45 minutes from me. He came to my house to help me drop one side of my rear suspension to replace my torque tube (I paid him for the help). Looking forward to seeing him at 944Fest next week.

It’s so funny, I have had mine for 22 years and have used the factory alarm many times and (knock on wood) never had an issue with it. I have also heard horror stories.
