Very nice of you thanks! BUt so far, the anchors are holding, and going back under there to change them up isn't very inviting lol

And instead of a pic of my last nut--currently and painfully installed in the furthest most position--here are good pics off of Pelican Parts.. the head is a 9mm socket

Interesting, so it's smooth inside with no threads/barbs at all....?

No, there is a thread... actually I recall they look more like straight circles if that makes sense

That's what I thought -- kind of like internal barbs.... Just can't see them in that picture. I still need to find a cover though or it's kind of a moot point for me.

I know several people parting cars. Want me to ask around?

If you know folks parting a car, that would be great, thanks! I looked on eBay and saw nothing, and wasn't sure what @lart951's status was given his move to Florida. It's not worth much and a pain to remove, so no surprise you don't see them all over eBay...

McMaster has cad files of nearly everything they stock, with a dropdown menu to select the type of file your 3D printer uses. Here's an example;

Will this fit?

I just got my order in from Porsche. Got 4 of these bad boys. The ones they sent me are completely smooth inside.

Not sure what this says about me, but I find that interesting! The one you sent me from 944Barn came with 3 nuts. They had ridges inside, so I assumed that how they were made, but now assume it's kind of a self-tapping deal (self-barbing?).... I was still going to model one on Fusion 360 just to have it available for that one other guy in the next 20 years who might be looking for one. ;)
