Anyone know the thread size of these? They hold the plastic cover under the dash that protects the wiring from the fuse box. #11 on the diagram

Yes they are still available from the dealer but mine is quite the drive and they don't ship. I just want to drill and tap some plastic blocks lol

They always looked like they weren't threaded, and just screwed on to course studs. Just my opinion/observation.

If your dealer doesn't ship, plenty of others do such as Porsche Marin or Jim Ellis Porsche.

I'm in Canada and we don't have as many to choose from :(

Ok.. will try drilling small hole and using the stud to tap. Just need to find suitable plastic pieces. I knew there's a reason I keep all the leftover IKEA hardware....

I just looked at mine and found (A) I am missing the cover completely, no doubt thanks to the Circuit City alarm installer from the '80's that left decades of things like this, and (B) I'm with Darwin -- it looks like a jagged post that acts more like barbs than threads (assuming I'm looking at the right posts....).

A visit to your local hardware store may turn up some plastic hollow wall anchors that will serve your purpose.

The yellow anchors work fine.. but I doubt anyone can install one in the rear most position!

Luckily, I have one good original nut left.

That one position needs to be installed with a long-extention 1/4" 9mm (original) socket

Looks good! Happen to have a part number for that plastic cover? If I pull my dash, this would be the perfect time to install it. And, I'd be sure to 3D-print plastics nuts and would be happy to send you a few. :)

Looks like the cover is discontinued https://www.sunsetporscheparts.com/oem- ... 4461021902

But if you happen to measure up a nut and create a .stl file I can use on the 3D printer at work..... :)

Can you post a picture of the one original nut you still have. That way I can model the replacement to look similar :)

How bad would it be to ship something from the US to Canada? I have a bunch of these as spares and could send you 3 or 4.

The ones I have are the ones that hold the fender liners and side skirts on. I googled the PNs and they look almost identical. If you think that might work, I have no problem sending you some.
