Hello everyone—just a quick introduction of myself to the forum. I hope you all don’t hold it against me but as a 35 year veteran as a field service representative from ahem—GM, love the Porsche design and the precision that is built into these cars. I own a 1987 944 S1 and anything I can learn about these cars is a bonus. I appreciate all your help. Thanks. Daniel, aka: blackmax.

Welcome to Carpokes! Nothing wrong with GM -- my daily is a GMC Canyon. :) Had my 951 for well over 20 years now, and I think you'll find we have quite a good collection of 944 owners here. 944 S1 -- meaning the 2.5 liter 16 valve 944?
