New to this group but not so new to Porsche years of enjoyment behind me and even more enjoyment to come.

Welcome aboard. What a great collection of Porsches! Would love to get more 928 posts going, and yours is quite the attention-getter!uscarrera wrote: Fri Aug 19, 2022 8:35 am New to this group but not so new to Porsche years of enjoyment behind me and even more enjoyment to come.

Edit: and the Martini 924 came out when I was in high school and was one of my many 'someday' cars... Looks like it's in outstanding shape too!

Welcome and I agree.
I live about a 10-hour drive to Sebring, FL (down Hwy 27 off the toll road).
HSR had a spring race event for years at Sebring. It was a good reason to escape the cold weather in GA. I participated in 25 races over 25 years. It was great fun. They always a night race, and the three hour enduro. I was the second driver
There was that past Le Mans Audi champion car (now retired from Sarth) that was lapping us every 6 laps. You would look in the rear mirror and no car. You'd drive under the bridge in the difficult 13a/13b, and the other damn car would be doing +60 Mph over our speed.
Here is me worrying about wrecking our $25K car with a $1M car (we had radio to pit):

Seventy cars in 6 classes started the race:

I love Sebring.
