Surprised that there isn't a thread on this already!

What do you think of the new GT3RS?

For me it validates my dream of getting a GT 911 as soon as I can get my hands on one.

I find really sad to see $200k markups on the GT3. Can't imagine what the markup on a GT3RS might be.

Hopefully the market crashes a bit and my patience pays off...

In the meantime, I'm planning to get a GTS at MSRP in about a year...

Beautiful car. I can't wait until I get to see it in person.

from a performance perspective, it is awesome. i am sure it is brutally quick on the track with all that downforce. the F1 style drag reduction system is very cool.

having said that, i am sure i am in the minority here but aesthetically, i do not like it at all. it's just so busy with all the ducts, wings, vents, fins. all that color contrast. it looks like the civic type r of 911s.

i know all that aero serves a purpose but i can't stop imagining this fictitious scenario where the design team kept coming to the boss with designs and the boss just kept replying "more fins".
