I was looking for an old book and came across my early collection of Porsche books/magazines. Thought this one might be of interest to the 928 crowd...

First Porsche I fell for was a 1986 928.
Took me over 35 years to decide I could buy my first Porsche.

Any chance to scan that as a pdf? I'm willing to do it if you don't want to or have time. Mark Anderson is still active with 928s, I bet he'd like a copy, too.
Cool find, thanks for sharing.

Would love to, and would love to get Mark on carpokes. Does anyone know the status of the Porsche Market Letter? It's old and of historic/educational interest, and I think the company is out of business, with no successor and/or ongoing copyright interests, but any info you had on that might help push me over the edge. If there are particular articles of interest, I can always post those excerpts too.Zirconocene wrote: Sun Jul 17, 2022 8:19 am Any chance to scan that as a pdf? In some odd moment of harmonica virgins, this PML coincides nicely with my fall '97 purchase. I bought the car sight-unseen for about $13k, which was the average of the KBB, NADA, and a couple other public valuations available at the time. My "justification" at the time was that it was a 18k miles 928 in excellent-plus condition for about the same price as a new Taurus/Camry/Accord. Which would I rather drive?
Values have rebounded slightly since then, thank goodness.

dr bob, I feel culturally deficient not knowing what harmonica virgins are, and google has thoroughly let me down. That said, I sense from the context that you are referencing some higher order power, which has connected you with this particular PML in ways we can't fully understand. As such, I would not want to stand in the way of said harmonica virgins doing their thing -- so.... if you'd like to have this PML, just let me know and I'll send it to you.
