Do you take your dog in your Cayman / Boxster

We got a Maltese last year who is now one year old. He didn’t used to travel well and would sick, but has has now settled down.

He’s never been in the Cayman and I find it limits my use of the car. I just wondered if anyone else takes their dog in their car and is it on the seat or the footwell or is the boot / trunk possible for a small dog.

By the way, seats are alcantara

We love our 11 year old Labradoodle and she doesn’t shed. Dogs can scratch the leather or Alcantara. No, she isn’t allowed in the Porsche.

No, but I do take one of them on my jet ski. Back legs on the seat, paws on the handlebars, 60 mph on calm waters. He loves it.

Starsky, our Husky, has the run of the house, but he's not getting in either my 944 or 992. :) That said, we do have a special hammock thing for the backseat of our SUV, so he's not sliding off the seat and/or trashing it, like this:

My 7 lb Poodle rides with me all the time in our GT4. We have a harness that attaches to the seatbelt via a carabiner and she sits in a bed on the front seat. She doesn’t shed. When I had PPF put on the outside of the car, I also had satin PPF put on all the metal trim so she doesn’t scratch it.

Starsky is welcome in the garage, but not in the Porsches. :) Between his claws and the shedding (white hair on black carpet), he's limited to the seat hammock in the back of the Subaru Outback. :)
