Porsche released a new recall for the Taycan this past week. The PCM can blank out and not fully boot. We've had it happen several times, and seems to be more frequent in the last couple of weeks.
Software update is still not available, it's expected dealers will have the update sometime in August. I'm hoping it's sooner. You can login to your Porsche account and it will tell you if your car is covered by the recall or not.

Summary
Recall cause is a software error in the central computer (PCM).

Corrective measures
THE REMEDY FOR THIS RECALL IS NOT YET AVAILABLE. The PCM must be re-programmed with corrected software. Due to the related functional enhancement of the central computer, the driver's manual must also be replaced with an updated version.

Hmmm.... the PCM on my 992 had to be replaced. The screen would go monochromatic in a random color. Probably unrelated, but still curious.
