What do you think? It's just matte red vinyl wrap, cut with a hole punch...

Looks great! How does it look together with your mode dial cover? Does it match?

I see a steering wheel stripe in your future

Sadly, I don't know. I gave my last read knob cover away last week. Need to paint another and check. I actually got the film to do the steering wheel. I'm just not sure about the look. I may play with other films/materials... I actually printed a steering wheel ring a while back, but it was too bulky for my tastes. You can see the color matches the Rustoleum "Guards Red" pretty well actually....

The steering wheel stripe looks good to me. What don't you like about it? I found using a gloss vs semi vs matte vinyl really changes the appearance. The vinyl rolls are certainly inexpensive. Try a couple of different finishes and see if any coordinate better. It certainly appears to be a very close match to the Guards Red.

This particular vinyl may also be a little thick and isn't wrapping into the crease the way I'd like -- looks more like a piece of tape wrapped around the steering wheel. Will try some other brands/thickness/glosses and see if there's one I like. But yes, the color is pretty close. :)

@Tom What size hole punch did you use? I just looked at one of mine and the diameter does not seem large enough.

Is it ok to assume that the power button on the pinwheel is only for PDK cars? Or does the manual cars has them too?

Sorry, I wasn't very clear. It's not a paper hole punch, but rather the kind you hit with a hammer to make gaskets, belt holes, etc. For my 992 button, I used a 3/8" punch, which centers nicely in the button. My set goes from from 3/8" to 1/2", so I may get a 7/16" and see if I like that better. 1/2" went just over the little bevel, and looked tacked on.... I just realized my 3/8" punch has a little kink in the circumference anyway, which has never mattered for other projects, but creates a little defect in the perfect circle on these, so I will pick up a new one and a 7/16" to experiment with.... I wonder if they make Shark Blue Vinyl wrap.

First post with an Avatar -- nice!! Would love to see more of that car. :) I'm going to collect orders and send them all at once (or in periodic batches). I'll start a list in this first post here. If/when you get to 3 posts, you can PM your address to me here. :)
