I purchased the Hawk Performance Ceramic brake pad set for my S2 and 951, both of which are/will be equipped with "big red" size front calipers and normal rears. I haven't installed them yet but I have the same pads on my 2003 Audi A4 that has 8-piston RS4 calipers in front and I really like them. They have near zero dust, are very quiet and seem easy to modulate. I purchased all at ECS Tuning. Fronts for big reds were $182 and the rears were $158 list.

Last set of Hawk HP pads I used were great for track but squealed like a stuck pig on the street.
Its easy enough to swap the pads that it makes sense to have street and track pads. With the size of the pads a set of inexpensive Mintex pads makes for a good street pad.
