That's the share of total 996 production relegated to the TARGA body style. Thus, the rarest 996 body produced. These 996.2 TARGAs were the only "Greenhouse" TARGAs offered with RWD. All subsequent 997 etc Greenhouse TARGAs were 4 wheel drive only. It is also the "smallest" (narrow body) and lightest water cooled Targa built. Oh...and it had a DIP STICK !!!! :clap:
Saw my 1st Porsche, in 1962, at age 11, whilst riding with Dad in his VW, in Tucson, AZ.
Love at 1st sight.... :shifty: Now, 35 Porsches later.....what can I say.
