It was a VERY tough decision, but I ended up selling my 2015 RS5 and picked up a 2013 Cayenne GTS (Black/Black). I absolutely LOVED the RS5, but since I work from home, it just wasn't getting driven enough. Not to mention that while the back seats weren't 944 small, it was extremely inconvenient to take anymore than 1 passenger. That 4.2L V8 absolutely sung at the 8,300 RPM redline, but once you're there.....it's jailtime if you're caught.
I specifically looked for a 2013 or 2014 GTS for the naturally aspirated V8 and the SportDesign aero parts as standard. I was looking at some Turbo's, but less parts, less to go wrong. And why didn't they put the SportDesign package as standard on the Turbo or Turbo S???
It sounds amazing in Sport Mode (flaps open, secondary CAT delete), even when putzing around town. Plus, I purchased it locally from a Porsche Service Advisor so it was well serviced.
I was totally amazed at how well it handles for an SUV. It's 10 years older than my wife's Durango R/T AWD but runs circles around it in acceleration, how it handles the curves.
Some day, I'll have my 944 Turbo running like it's supposed to and I'll have a very fun tandem to enjoy!

Nice, we needs pics!! I’m constantly waffling between a Cayenne or Macan to replace my daily driver pick up truck!NCGermerican wrote: Thu Jun 18, 2026 11:29 am It was a VERY tough decision, but I ended up selling my 2015 RS5 and picked up a 2013 Cayenne GTS (Black/Black).
