So excited!

After a bit of waiting I got my new wheels in the mail!

Litespeed Magnesium+ RS5RR
Front 9Jx20 ET58 23.4 lbs
Rear 11Jx20 ET50 25.6 lbs

I was leaning towards full-magnesium but the Magnesium+ (an alloy, so a bit heavier) looked a bit better as it had more "complications". Styling on the Magnesium+ got the nod from my wife as well

We got a bunch more color-swatches but we couldn't quite decide on a new one, so we picked the same powder as the Enkei on our Lexus. Our cars have matching shoes :shh:

I'm not sure what I was expecting going from my ugly/heavy stock aluminum wheels, but I will say that it is noticeable and all Porsches should come with magnesium(-alloy) wheels

It seems all the usual feedback applies -- stopping and going are a bit easier, bumps are less harsh, etc. The stop/go differences are especially noticeable in E-mode. I've not had a chance to head to AutoX or any back-roads to apply Launch Mode to really test the performance differences, but I would assume it's all "better".

I've not had much of a chance to get some good shots in, but I will leave you with these:

Those look great!! I'm very interested in the feel and if you see any measurable performace gain at the autox or track days. Swapped wheels on my AX car from 16s to 17s years back for the right size to fit the tires I wanted to run. New wheels were significantly heavier, but the availability of sticky shoes (Toyo R888R) made all the difference. Not to mention won a few SM class championships at the Glen. I keep saying I'm going to grab custom 3 piece wheels, ditch the spacers and lose some weight. To gain .5 seconds on a 40s ax run? Maybe, but hey, it all counts 😎 I digress. Love that design and the finish on your new wheels!
