Help with Bin files
I’m trying to learn how to use TunerPro RT with the Osterich 2.0. I used the compare feature in TunerPro to compare 89DME, 88SDME and DME Performance. All of them 28Pin. I had 5 different parameters up. Used the control button and switched between bins to compare like TunerPro says to do and I didn’t notice one difference on any of the bins. Am I doing something wrong. I wouldn’t expect all the bins to be the same. Also I was following Tom’s YouTube video on how to use TurnerPro on my 86 turbo and started messing with some timing parameters and didn’t notice anything difference like I was expecting so I kind of got scared and I put it back to the original DME performance bin.

You should definitely see differences, at least with the performance chip. The other two may be the same, I'm not sure. I am burning some chips later today and will see if I can give you some tips on isolating map differences...Mscromer wrote: Sun May 17, 2026 7:01 am I’m trying to learn how to use TunerPro RT with the Osterich 2.0. I was thinking I should see a difference with the performance bin also and since i didn't I wanted to actually see the difference which is why I tried to use the compare feature in tunerpro and i didn't see any difference in the bins. unless I'm doing something, wrong which is very possible.Tom wrote: Sun May 17, 2026 9:53 amYou should definitely see differences, at least with the performance chip. So I just checked the posted files and can confirm the Performance chip is indeed modified from the stock chips. The performance chip is basically the 89 turbo chip with the full throttle map and the overboost protection map altered. To see for yourself, do this:
1. Download the performance chip and the 89 turbo chip.
2. In Tunerpro RT, click Compare in the top menu and select Load Compare Bins...
3. In the pop up window, click browse and choose the performance chip for the first bin, and the 89 turbo chip for the second bin. Once those are uploaded, click ok.
4. Choose Tools in the top menu and select Difference Tool in the drop down.
5. In the pop up, make sure you select the performance chip and the 89 turbo chip in the two boxes on the top line.
6. Click the search button and a list of file locations that are different will be listed.
