I’m sure a lot of people know of TrueChoice. Well they were bought or partner with PSi or Performance Shock if you weren’t aware. I’ve used PSi befor for Ohlins on a different car. But just had my Koni’s rebuild by the Ohio (truechoice) division.

I had my Koni's rebuilt by Truechoice about 12 years ago but haven't put 5K on them since (lack of use due to son in school needing funds). One rear shock had a bent shaft so they sent me the closest valved replacements. I found Truechoice to be good people to deal with for this, but that was 12 years ago.
I've since considered an upgrade from either Racers Edge or KW given advancement in tuning and understanding from 89. When I ran FF, it was my understanding the biggest advancement/improvement to be gained after tires was shocks. Shock tuning is a bit of a black art. The trick is to get the compliance you need for potholes and step function impacts while also maintaining control for ripples and small waves in pavement, low speed vs high speed inputs.
I also feel due to the age of the car, all the suspension bushings should be replaced as well as rubber deteriorates a great deal with time regardless of mileage. Ozone and aging are not your friends.

Another good place for Koni is Paragon Products. Jason is a great guy and a racer. A great resource when it comes to 944/951 suspensions setting.

Yes. Will be doing new caster blocks. Control arm rebuild. And will be calling Jason at paragon for the 2.5 spring conversion and 30 series rear coil overs. Just have too much on my project list currently to drop 3k on Intrax or MCS. It’s a street car only too.
