Since it is 35 years old, it spends time in the air.

The exhaust is from Albert Broadfoot. It was too loud for the street in my opinion, so I added a round magnaflow SS muffler in the center section. He does some beautiful welding.

The best way to keep your 951 off your lift is to also own a 1979 California-smog-spec 450SL.

Love the color on your car Cruise -- is that "nautic" blue?

Tom, did you see the February Issue of Octane that had the article on SL's ?
The issue had a yellow Gemballa Testarossa on the cover.

I did not. Good? I haven't seen Octane around lately -- I used to get it at Barns and Noble, but haven't seen it lately....

It was interesting for a broad overview of the generations, and they did include the Euro straight six manual. A basic difference of some of the specs and iterations given the length of its lifespan.
We have a decent Barnes and Noble so wide selection of Porsche magazines, Aston, Ferrari, occasional Morgan, Magneto, Jag, Mini, BMW, etc.
