I got this letter from Porsche yesterday. Anyone know the symptoms of bad motor mounts on a 992?

I received the same mailed notice last week. I was at dealership Friday and mentioned same but didn't ask what the symptoms might be. They were not aware of a letter being sent and mentioned that there would likely be a service bulletin of some kind at some point. (That could be in the manner of a simple notice to the service dept or possibly a required diagnostic for certain cars when in for regular service.)
As for your question, my guess is that if a failure occurs, the signs will be either be noticeable in some obvious way and/or there will be some kind of instrument warning.

Failure of the active engine mounts in 718s w/Sport Chrono is not uncommon, and I suspect the 911 mounts are similar, if not the same. The 718 mounts do throw a warning in the MFD when they fail.
