Anyone have a good source for new tumber pins/springs for the 944 door locks? I just discovered by driver door won't manually unlock, even though the same key still works on the passenger side, ignition, and hatch. So I'm planning to dog into the lock at some point. In the meantime, my cheap-o aftermarket door lock remote fob still works like a charm.

Hi Tom, did you get this sorted out? I have had luck filing down the wafers on mine. Stick the key in the cylinder and see which wafers are sticking out. take a marker and put a line on them as they are sticking out. Then pull the wafers in question out of the cylinder and file them down to just past the marker line.

I've been using my after-market remote (and not driving the 944 much) and kind forgot about this. I'll put it back on the list though, and appreciate the tip!

I just did this on one of mine while I had the door latch all out of mine and cleaning it up. ;)
