I have a 2021 992 Turbo S, so thought I'd open up a forum to chat all things 992 Turbo/S! I'll kick it off with compulsory pictures. :)

Photoshopped checker stripes -- looking for someone to make them for me now. :)

What did you have before? I have a ‘19 TTS and wondering how they compare.
Good of you to start this discussion group.

I had an '18 Turbo S. Both are incredible cars, no question about it. Launch control on the 991TTS is insane. Launch control on the 992TTS requires superlatives not yet coined. Don't do it on a full stomach. ;) They claim 60hp more, but it sure feels like more. Off the top of my head, I'd say:

--the 992 interior is a major departure. The 991 still tried to pay tribute to the old 911 dash gauges, etc, but the 992 pretty much does away with that in favor of a modern -- everything-on-the-touchscreen -- approach. You definitely feel like your in a new/different car when you switch over.

--992 has more power and more grip. I have no idea where the limits of this car are. I swear you could do a u-turn on the highway.

--992 exhaust is a major upgrade. The PSE system is real (with flaps in the exhaust) and it makes a much deeper growl than the 991, along with a serious amount of downshift exhaust burble.

--992 overall feels more visceral, with less of a gentlemen cruiser than the 991. As my dealer says, it's like a GT2RS wearing a business suit.

Happy to take pictures or answer questions, but bottom line is I'm very happy I moved to the 992. I loved the 991 and constantly second-guessed my decision to trade it in for a 992. All of that doubt was for not -- it's as good as all the reviews!

Welcome to Carpokes RAD911! I absolutely loved the red 991 Turbo S, so I won't try to convince you too much. But....the 992 Turbo S is otherworldly. Launch control is staggering really, and I swear I could do a u-turn on the freeway. :)
