Balance shaft delete poll

Whats the consensus here on deleting the balance shafts? My engine is pulled and heading to a local machine shop familiar with 944 engine. They deleted balance shafts on these way before there was kit by drilling and plugging the oil passages.

This car is going to be daily weekend car for me. I want some pros and cons to it from real world.

I would not expect there to be many pros to eliminating balance shafts on a normal street use car.
I say leave them alone.

Zero benefits and the danger of cracking the oil pickup. It would be a pass from me

Plenty of information out there. My vote is no, especially for a daily driver.
