Looking for recommendations on what others use for a vinyl conditioner/protectant on these older cars.
I've been using Vinylex for years, but I'm down to my last few ounces (bought a bunch before it went out of production).

I use 303 on our boat for UV protection, but I find it doesn't really "condition" the vinyl.

Recommendations and experiences are appreciated.

Cheers

I have become a fan of Jay Leno’s interior protectant fwiw - I like the UV protectant on my dash with a non greasy finish.

I went looking for an SDS, to see what was in Vinylex and it's interesting what's not out there. There is a document from Energizer holdings that doesn't disclose anything (which seems illegal to me based on what my company is forced to disclose), but there's also this product from Kimball Midwest: https://www.kimballmidwest.com/80763

Maybe it's the same stuff, just sold under a new manufacturer.

I've never seen that before. I may need to try that out.

Interesting.

VINYLEX appears to be a registered trademark (or at least was).
Looking a bit further, they offer this as well..

Ive tried countless brands and just ran across this at a Walmart and figured I would try it out. Ended up recommending to all of my friends for the lack of strong sent and the natural finish with the UV protection.

For several years I’ve been a fan of Griot’s Garage products and I do like their interior protectant.
Non-greasy, supposed to be UV protective, leaves behind a finish that seems just right. Not too shiny, not too dull.

I am a long-time user and a fan of Griot's products, so naturally I agree completely on your analysis of their interior products, both the Interior Cleaner and the Interior Detailer.
