I finally did something today I've been vowing to do for years. That little ear always gets hung up on the carpet. Well no more!! I could have cut off more, but even this much makes a huge difference! Highly recommended for those who are regularly digging into the DME area.

Tom, do your have a pic of your DME in the footwell? When I'm trying to help people online with electrical issues on the late 944's, I have to say "The DME is somewhere in the passenger footwell floor." I have an early car, and I have zero idea how this is mounted, though I do know it is somewhere under a wood plank. Although I'm very good with a schematic, I'd be grateful to be better informed.

PS, I'm envious of your fuse/relay box location. And my back absolutely hates you guys. ;)
