New tensioner pulled making noise after 20 miles

Using a stethescope sound like its the pulley on the tensioner. Which is brand new ugh. Anyone ever havr that happen?

Checked again today. Once the engine gets hot and idle drops i get a noise from tensioner area.
Ideas? Or normal?
Idle is between 800 and 850

can you post a video of it so we can hear the sound? It does not sound normal. However, these cars make so many funny noises, it's always hard to say for sure without hearing it.

Just because it's new doesn't mean it's good. Where did you purchase the suspect part?
