Gauge Panel with Cubby

Yet another detour as I clean up wiring. As part of my new back-to-basics kick, I didn't want all the USB outlets and gauges under the radio that I had till now -- just the Zeitronix Wideband/EGT/boost gauge. At first I made a panel just for that gauge, but the plate ended up looking so blank that way. So after a lot of trial and error, here's the latest. It's the Zeitronix gauge with a custom bezel, along with a half-sized cubby inspired by the 968, and a little Carpokes shout-out for good measure. All the custom parts are 3D-printed, though the gauge bezel and matching trim on the cubby were done on the resin printer, and cubby is felt-lined -- all so it doesn't 'look' like 3D-printed parts.

I put a lot of effort into making the gauge panel fit well to start. Spoiler alert, a flat panel can't/doesn't sit flush against the frame if you look closely. Will post more details on that, and these STL files, soon, along with files for more basic gauge configurations.

I'll work on that for sure. I took lots of pictures of the new gauge panel/cubby, but this one just kind of captured the mood of the whole interior. In hindsight, I think the kids are calling it this a 'humble flex' these days.

If you're selling these, I'm down to buy one! I have two gaping holes where I used to have two other gauges. I have a 968 cubby I had planned on basing a design of off but I have yet to have the time.

What gauge do you want to run in the panel? The hole in my panel needed to be 52mm for the Zeitronix, and I'm not sure how standard that really is....
