944 Heater Clip

Here is a 3D-print STL file for the notorious 944 heater clip, and a video showing how it works. When these break, which they do often, the car has nothing but hot air from the vents. Super fun in the summer. There are two STL files below, one for the main clip, and one for the helper 'spring' that keeps it tight. The second piece is optional, but better safe than sorry.

It really comes down to your printer and the plastic you use. Be mindful of heat tolerance of the plastic too -- PLA will melt if the car if parked in the sun....
