Porsche Family Day at Porsche of Omaha -- Special guest Sabré Cook!!

Wow , what an unreal event put on by Porsche of Omaha and there was so much going on I did not get pictures of everything . If the name Sabre Cook sounds familiar she was the only American of the 18 drivers to qualify for the W Series ( Worldwide Female Formula Car Series ) and she also was the first woman to qualify for the Porsche Female Developement Program in 2023. She was on hand for all the young members to answer questions and to invite them to try the Simulator that is brought to the Porsche Carrera Cup races. The two Canadian Employees for the Simulator drove 15 hours straight from Road Atlanta to be at the event --- yes , they were both young men, ha! With a pumpkin shaped bounce house, hot wheels race set - up, face painting , breakfast , test rides in the new " Electric Macan ", and tours, just to name a few of the items going on, it was a huge success and it was hard to tell if the kids or the adults enjoyed it more. Here are just a few pics of the folks or items going on.

..........and for those of you who might want more Coaching at the Track , Sabre Cook offers training and full Instruction , just check out sabrecookracing.com. No worries if you think you are a Super Technical Trackrat, she just happens to have a Mechanical Engineering degree and she might not tell you but she also did a technical stint with the Renault F1 Team. Don't think she will have much trouble discussing camber , shock dynamics , slip angles ,etc. , ha, ha!!

If you have a Peacock subscription you can watch her race at COTA in the Prive/Penfed number 37 ERA Motorsports Porsche, the 18-19th of this month.

Looks like a great family-friendly event!! Great cars, and a little something for everyone in the family. I just discovered I do have Peacock too, so will look for 37!

I did have a bunch of pictures of personalized license plates , but I posted them over in that thread. I did not get a picture of the plate on the GT3RS similar to Crazy Eddie's , but he is a good friend so I will post that another time.
