I have five free 944 balance belt adjusting shims up for grabs. These are aftermarket
but similar to P9207. To claim your gift, set aside your lurker tendencies and contribute
a post with content. It could be any one of these three things below or even something
not mentioned here:

1) A new member introductions thread.
2) a DIY thread like "Yes, I sewed my own shifter boot" or "How I fixed my falling-off
rear bumperettes."
3) or a mid-project pictures thread.

To reserve your shim, respond in this thread with a link. I will follow-up with the 5
winners to get their USA address. I will then ship the gift directly to you. Remember,
the first 5 threads with content win! Bruce

PS... send your thanks to Tom!

Bruce, that is above and beyond. My sincere thanks to you! As we work our way to critical mass here, stuff like this is just awesome to see. For those who don't know, this is Bruce:

In the May 2018 Panorama magazine, I wrote the article "Tensions Run High" where I tested and reviewed the accuracy of every aftermarket timing belt tensioner tool I could find. Bottom line, the tool Bruce designed and sells was the only one that consistently produced results on par with the $800 factory tool. And it wasn't even close.

I'll pick up that tab. Paypal on it's way. You both have been great carpokes champions, so it's the least I can do! :)

I nominated swerve951 for this thanks to his engine build post, and would add @Darwin (with the top 944 post count after the first month), and @gruhsy for several helpful posts, and @Jay Wellwood for his help on and off this board. I'd say @Thom too, but last time I tried to send him a part, it took over a month and ended up back in my own mailbox. :(

Well, on the 951 board, after me... This way you can tell everyone you were posting here long before it was cool. :)
