Lately, when I start my car (89 turbo), the power windows, main headlights, wipers, A/C will not work. It works in the on position. I would have to drive for a few minutes and it will come on. If I turn off the car while it is moving in gear and put the key position back to on, the electrics will come on right away. If I stop the car and restart, it may or may not work. Seems to be random. I've changed the x contact relay and it didn't do anything different. Anyone have any idea where I should be looking? Thanks.

Before you go any further, have you cleaned all your grounds? I'm not saying that's what your issue is, but you never know.

Good point. I visually checked the grounds but maybe I should clean them. Thank you.

I feel a need... For a diagnostic 53b relay that has some remote LEDs for diagnostics. Working....

Update to the strange problem I was having. A mechanic friend told me to look at my ignition switch. He felt it was the culprit. So after starting the car I turned the key back a little and sure enough all my electrics work. It seems like some type of a contact issue. So I think I am going to look into getting a new ignition switch or new lock tumbler. I am not sure which is the bad part.
