@Crazy Eddie sells these, though I'm not sure which seats they fit and don't fit...

This particular seatbelt retaining ring actually only works on the 918 bucket style seatsTom wrote: Tue May 28, 2024 7:54 pm @Crazy Eddie sells these, though I'm not sure which seats they fit and don't fit...

The only way I've figured out to minimize this is ... slide up the little plastic collar all the way to the top (by the B-pillar upper mount). That way the buckle stays up there.
I have the power 14 way comfort (?) seats. Not the 18 way or 4 way.
I'm diligent about keeping mine up there and seems to solve the issue. (which is... when the seat moves up and back, and the door opens and shuts when the seat belt is midway or all the way down, it dings the unnecessarily fragile seat airbag cover). It's become second nature when a passenger gets out to slide that one up as well.
I just replaced both driver and passenger espresso brown airbags on both seats. Myself. Was about $330 each side, and no labor. No damage incurred except one broken seat clip that I've bought and have on hand. A bit fiddly disconnecting the seat ventilation ductwork clips.. but the project was not too difficult. I have some experience disassembling Porsche seats from prior cars which gave me a bit of a leg up.
