I found a different solution to mounting a front plate w/o drilling holes not using a tow hook mount- a Ford F150 mount - https://www.ebay.com/itm/285645322716

The mount has a "L" upper mount with two holes. I cut off the portion with the holes and shaved the remaining tab so that it was wedge shaped (like a razor blade). I then shaped the side edges to somewhat comfort with the tjunction between the upper number and center opening. Once shaped, I used plastic pry bars to open the area between the bumper and the center filler piece then pushed in the wedge tabs. Once inserted, I used a film of FlexSeal to secure the mount.

Best part is that the FlexSeal is easily removed from the painted bumper (requires a bit more work to remove from the textured center fill piece that replaces the center radiator that my 718 Cayman S w/ PDK does not have.

Best part of this solution - the F150 mount is only $8.20 shipped on EvilBay

Glad to see a another solution that does not require holes. In the my current state front plates are not required so fortunately I have not had to go through this type of creativity.
