I will be bringing my 992RS over to Germany/Austria this Fall for some events and as usual will return to the Nürburgring. I always stay at a hotel run by her family, but there are many memories there.
I went up to her farm one time and spent a little time in her garage and she drove me in my then brand new 997RS. By the time I returned with the 991 she was already not well. I was aware of the seriousness and like any regular there never posted anything about it. Her privacy was veery well guarded until she herself made an announcement. Now there is a corner at the Ring, formerly T13 and now Sabine-Schmitz Curve.

Here are a few shots I took when all was well and she had her trademark energy and humour. She won the N24 and was a fierce competitor. The world is a poorer place without her.
