911 hood release

911, 912, 914, 356 and all other air-cooled cars!

I have a 1969 911T and cannot open the hood when pulling the hood release knob. I would appreciate and ideas on how to fix this problem. Thanks, Allen

Does the handle pull out or is it stuck ? Try to have somebody push down the hood while pulling.

The handle pulls out but does not open hood. I will try what you suggest when I can get someone to help. Thanks for your suggestion. Wish me luck. Thanks, Allen
