LCA issue
On my new 992 the LCA has stopped working. It happened right after my car was PPF’d. The installer removed my mirrors so that there was no seam behind the mirror housing. It turns out that when mirrors are removed the LCA system has to be reinstalled. At the dealer now so hopefully easy fix. Just thought I would let all know.

Interesting. When I took my 992 in for a break-in oil change at 1k miles, my car apparently had an error code relating to the doors/mirrors, so they reset the system and all was fine. No warning lights on the dash and I didn't notice anything not working. I honestly can't remember the specifics of the code, but it was in that LCA area since I remember pointing out that the door panels had been removed by both the PPF guys and by the dealer to fix the speaker rattle. On my 991, the PPF guy removed the mirrors and door panels, and it all worked fine afterwards with no codes.Tedrudich wrote: Tue Nov 09, 2021 5:05 am On my new 992 the LCA has stopped working.
