Anyone know what this kind of connector is called and/or if this style is still made? It houses bullet connectors (or various sizes) and was used on Porsches, Mercedes, and other German cars in the 70's and 80's, maybe more. I am replicating one for my old Mercedes, but am curious if anyone has info on this style of connector in the meantime?

Turns out this type of connector was from Kostal Kontakt Systeme, a big family owned company in Germany. You can still find many of them, but they are silly expensive. The 14-pin version popular on Porsches sells from $50 to $75! This one I was after is a 6-pin version used on the old Hirschmann power antennas used in the 70'2 and 80's on Mercedes and Porsches. Someone had removed the connector on my car and installed a universal power antenna, so I'm now in the process of getting it back to stock. As is my way, I ended up 3D printing a replacement. I'll post the STL in case it ever helps someone down the road, but wanted to show how nicely the 3D printed version came out....

And you are a clairvoyant!

In my youth, my life's ambition was to be a Magician. I did magic shows for kids' birthday parties until I was about 14 or so -- hardest working kid in my junior high. :shifty: My 'stage' name was The Wizard of Altos, a mash-up of the Wizard of Oz and my home town of Los Altos. Then I discovered girls and that was that.
