Clutch Engagement/feel
So one of the things i replaced while my motor was out was the clutch. I replaced it with a sacks clutch kit. I also bled the clutch line, and when finished i noticed there is a different feeling in the clutch for the first little bit of depressing it. I remember it being the exact same way before i did any of the work to the car so idk if i need to adjust anything with the clutch peddle or i still have air in my line. Is this behavior normal? Here is a video
If you have properly bled the clutch, then this could be an adjustment issue. If you look up under there where the master cylinder pushrod is, there is adjustable clevis. You need a couple of open ended wrenches to adjust and lengthen the rod and take out that slop you are feeling at the beginning of the travel.
There is no mention of this step in any of the procedures I read online, but this fixed my problem after bleeding and bleeding and bleeding and bleeding and...
