I got a Sekurit windshield for about $500 w/ antenna. That was a while ago, but I can't imagine they've doubled in price?

haha, not quite. It's about $650CAD. and I agree, seems like someone got lazy, and knows that someone out there will pay it. Some dealer prices are ridiculous!

Porsche pricing is very odd, based on some sort of supply vs demand algorithm, changes the pricing all the time.
Big Reds used to cost me $350 each from a dealer...now its over $1k each!
the turbo coolant expansion tank is over $500.....

I remember thinking I was crazy to spend something like $160 on a new turbo throttle position sensor a few years ago. Now they are over $500!

Hi - has anyone located new OEM windshields lately? Need one for a 1986 951 (with antenna preferably).

Also - any decent glass folks in the bay area?

Nope that's definitely legit. It was $1,400 at Porsche South Orlando when I asked about one for my 89na about two years ago.
Find a 944 wrecker aka parts guy, and get a windshield frame cut from a car and haul it home. Way cheaper. Don't get Chinesium glass.

I would say give Tim Comeau a call @ CRE.
