I’ve been attracted by aftermarket touch screen upgrades to replace the Pioneer radio which was an upgrade several years ago. Two issues arise
  • 1) would need to move the heat/ac controls to the lowest slot in the dash, and cut out the divider in the top 2 slots. How difficult is this?
    2) I’m thinking about sticking with Pioneer brand, and wonder if anyone has had experience with their latest products?
My car is 2000 MY.

I second the Porsche unit. Fits in perfect and looks like it came that way. I had mine installed at the dealer but if you are capable you can probably do it yourself!

Thanks for guidance. Makes sense to take incompatibility issues off the table and keep the focus on the end product performance and fit. I’m going with the Porsche unit.
