For those new to the GT4 platform, this video is designed to cover adjustable aero and sway bar elements on the car to improve handling on the road course and autocross. Enjoy!

Excellent video 'Jet Fuel Only' that will be helpful for many, especially those who track their GT4s.

For my driving, I run the front sway at full soft front and the rear at full stiff.

However, I use other bits that impact that decision, such as more aggressive negative camber (-2.0 square) achieved using Tarrett's race design front monoball camber plates and their motorsport design turnbuckle rear toe links.

As for the rear wing, I felt that the factory risers kept the wing a bit too low so I changed to RSNV's risers which added about 3" of height. This gets the wing more involved in the airflow coming off the roof and the RSNVs look great too!

Other upgrades have been done to the braking system (AP Racing and Ferodo) which helped tremendously.

And yes to frequent brake fluid bleeds! Great advice to all who subject their cars to the tremendous heat generated on track, especially if one drives hard.

Now if I could just find some super-grippy tires that never wear out .........

I love my 718 GT4. It mostly tops the list among the most fun cars to drive that I've ever owned and I've had some good ones over the years. While the little car may lack some of the raw HP, straight line speed and acceleration of its bigger brethren, it more than makes up for it in balance, handling and fun.

Thanks @blueline . I tried other sway bar settings but it was early in my days with the car so I kinda want to go back and see how I feel now that I have a number of track and autocross days. Also, I've changed my alignment significantly as well since then. I also have the camber plates and toe links running quite a bit of camber now.

Nice with great tips 👍

Just wondered about the 2 small front wheel spoilers:

what’s the technical reason for Porsche to normally fit those 2 front small spoilers on the GT4
if they ‘spoil’ the flow of air under the car such that they reduce downforce (increase lift) so you can simply remove them to increase downforce (reduce lift) or am I misunderstanding something 😉

Since the default position of the rear wing is flat (per Porsche this is the “required” street setting) and producing little downforce the default setup for the front is meant to match that with the little spoilers in place.

If you reposition the rear wing for more downforce the front should be balanced. Removing the spoilers creates more downforce up front and a balanced setup. But again according to Porsche this should only be done for the track. I’m guessing that they say that because the high down force position doesn’t meet the fuel economy specs or something.

Not sure if that clears it up?

Ah yes, thank you, I forgot you had increased downforce at the rear first 😉
