@Latitude48 : There's a great thread over on RL on Pefa's 968 where he documented a lot of the work. I became acquainted with that car when searching for replacement fenders for the 968, which my car sort of needs. Between the level of the work, the outcome, and the color (!) of the car, it's a beautiful build.

Cheers

Thank you for the kind words about my 968 build.
I have been fighting old electrical-system in that car and I am currently taking the Bosch system out and will make a new engine harness and fit a Maxx ecu in it.

Maybe I will post about it in the 968 forum.

I did some searching on RL but haven't found the thread you mentioned. I did find one regarding 968 Turbo S registry and there is a user "PF," aka, Peder with a beautiful blue replica. Would that be the car?

How is the car coming along? All sorted out? I'm seriously mulling getting my 944 painted, but may need to take it out of the area, where they are less restrictive about which paints can be used. Was yours glasurit?

Hi Tom.

Yes it is all sorted. Ofcoarse I could fix things here and there like plating, cleaning the undercarriage etc but as of now I am just enjoying using the car. I am amazed by it to be honest. It is just so wonderful to drive😀 That 4,5 despite just 240hp is a real gem. 1000 rpms in 5th, step on it and it just goes. No complaints what sowever. Just buttery smooth brute power💪
I would describe it as a "Beast" Absolutely love it🥰

This coming winter I will just look into eventual service items.

Missed your question, Yes Glasurit 2 stage paint without clearcoat. This gets the closest to factory finish 👍I am very pleased with the result of the paint finish.
