You should also probably get a fuel pressure gauge on the rail and ensure your pressure (and 20min leakdown) are within spec. Just "having pressure" doesnt tell you the whole story and you could have an issue with the FPR which is causing too much fuel to spray as well as the aforementioned injector impedance issue.
Fuel spraying out the exhaust ports like that means you are likely not getting spark on that cylinder either, so its flooding the cylinder (and also likely diluting your oil, which is bad) because there is no ignition. So first thing is test each spark plug for spark and fix that before moving forward to the fuel pressure test and switching out to the stock injectors.
I really cant recommend the Clarks Garage engine troubleshooting guide enough, especially starting with lack of spark and lack of fuel and then testing components methodically from there, not just replacing parts (or even worse, guessing). Clarks has testing procedures for almost every component on the car, and walks you through a very methodical process, so its very easy to do this.
Perhaps I am wrong but it "feels" like you haven't done a really organized and methodical regiment of testing. Likely that you have multiple issues going on here and I again, highly recommend walking through the clarks garage guide starting with testing each cylinder for lack of spark, addressing that, then moving on to fuel. Follow the guide
Anyone in NYC area willing to help me get a 951 started?

Congrats on getting her running!!! I really would take the advise given here and discontinue running the car until you validate there isn’t something more serious going on. These cars are very reliable but are unforgiving to cylinders being washed down, blown head gaskets, etc… Be extremely careful and do all the necessary tests to verify things before driving it and potentially causing a lot more serious damage.
Does anyone have a used stock 951 injector they would be willing to sell me?
It’s all I’m missing to get the car running right at this point. I have three good injectors that were sent out to get cleaned and I’m missing one more.
Thank you!!

Little update on the project car.
1. The car had a foreign object hit the turbo. A washer from the airbox was lodged into the compressor wheel. Thats how I bought the car and probably why it was parked and sat for over 20 years. I removed the washer and the turbo boosts 15psi without any issue but the turbo will have to be changed because the damage for sure has caused imbalance and it will likely not last long.
2. Installed a test pipe since the car had no cat and it was extremely loud when I bought the car. The cat was sawed off and stolen. Good excuse to weld a straight pipe in it place. Still very quiet with the borla cat back exhaust it came with.
3. Added a boost guage and manual boost controller.
4. New sway bar bushing front and back and strut mounts up front. Bilstein b6 in the back and to my surprise the original front struts are still good although they will be changed eventually to something much better. What a difference bushings and good shocks make!
5. I new resealed hatch from Jose. The original hatch had completely separated and was creaking constantly. Major difference in overall sound inside the car and the hatch opens like it’s supposed too now. No more rattles.
6. New Michelin pilot sport all season 4 tires.
All fluids changed. Had to do the transmission fluid twice since it had so much gunk in it. But in the end it now shifts smoothly without any issues.
7. New projector headlights.
Overall the car is now a pleasure to drive. For a car that sat for over 20 years and was heavily driven that I picked up non running this has been a great pleasure and a success.
Next will be refitting the front bumper with new mounting strips and spring clips so it’s properly adjusted.
The purpose of having this car for me was to learn as much as a could of the strong and weak points of the 944 turbo myself. I’ve learned much more than mentioned here. But I’m happy to say I’m ready for something more special. As in the ultimate 944.

Over the weekend a friend with a silver rose and I took off our front bumpers and properly adjusted them.
It was quite annoying but I’m very satisfied with the result and learned more about the 951 and how it’s built.
It was bothering me the front bumper gaps were so bad. I ordered the bumper mounting strips since they were missing then followed the pelican parts removal video.
Major tip is, if your bumper doesn’t line up with the nose panel and fenders well, you can adjust the bumper shocks after removing the bumper and raise them so when the bumper is put back on it is in a higher position. Made a huge difference with my car and now everything lines up well.
Also make sure you buy the hardware kit either from eBay or belmetric or hardware store with proper bolts and screws and have the bumper retaining strips.
Leave things loose until properly positioned then tighten things up.
A moving truck hit one of my very pitted fog lights. Luckily they bought me a new set so I’ll be installing soon on the project car.

More intriguing night photos of your car as well as your friend's. Both cars are looking great!
