Update on my PSE rattle, some of the E-Clips fell out. They seem to not do well after being spread over the axle shaft of the valve. Possibly I should have sprung for the stainless versions of the E-Clips.

Today I tried Stainless safety wire, wrapped it around three times, twisted the two ends together so it won't come loose and tucked the tail out of the way. Hoping for a longer term solution.

Any luck with the wire?

My solution I would say reduced it by 80% or so, but after time I could def hear it a bit again. I might try the wire.

But, I noticed something when I was faffing around with it again. Look at the picture. That little gap also has some play when you open close the value with your hand. I might try some wire there, because the clips I have on are still on and there is no play in the main gap.

I could envision a spring-metal clip that slips into both joints at once like a speed nut, and keeps gentle pressure on both... ?

I was googling for spring clips that could be installed but did not quickly come up with anything. I am sure something exists that could work, the wire trick seems like a good solution so far.

Can you share a picture of what you did with the wire?
