Van Morrison - Them - 'Gloria'

Smokin' vocals (on fire!!!), smokin' lyrics, smokin' song from the first note until the last.

Turn up the volume and let it rip.

Thank you Mr Van!

While we're cookin' might as well fire up a couple of Stevie Ray's incomparable tunes!!!

One's on fire and the second's a blues masterpiece! It doesn't get much better...

Long long time ago I was at the Trinity Ball in Dublin where I was a student . The annual ball was black tie and scheduled from 11pm to 7am.

There were multiple bands through the campus .
One was Them with Van Morrison. Good days:) I think it was 1967 or thereabouts.

Pretty cool seeing him back then. Especially of note is that you were a student in Ireland - but Ireland figures correctly for you I think! Of note is that Van Morrison is indeed Irish too!

Assuming the question is for me … my tastes vary from Classic Rock, some Pop, Folk Rock, some country, some reggae, singer-songwriter, Americana.

In terms of artists putting out new music I listen to a lot of Springsteen, Passenger, Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton, Lori McKenna, Brandy Clark, Kenny Chesney etc.

As this is Carpokes (Friendly, Fun), feel free to tell us about your musical interests.
