@Tom I was wondering about doing an app for Carpokes. That way it is easy for folks to just stay on the app? Sometime I have to wait until I get home and log on on my laptop and read what I missed.

What are your thoughts on that? Easy, hard to do?

The site is actually pretty responsive to mobile devices. I'm typing this reply on my phone to prove the point :)

Yeah, the platform does work reasonably well on a phone. That said, an app would still be great -- both for functionality (push notices, etc.), native layout, user engagement etc. I've looked at tapatalk, but don't think that's where we want to go --too much like a group within some other platform. There are a few services that turn forums into apps which essentially mirror the forum in native phone mode, but they are not cheap and would be tied to this phpbb platform, which may or may not be our forever platform. Bottom line, no it's not easy or cheap, but yes it is on my radar. Also, the more the forum grows, the more I can start to justify the time and expense in my head. :)

Hey it’s a new site. I imagine it will take a little time to work the bugs out. The mobile interface has plenty of room to improve on. I’ll stick around.
