Weathertech now offers a frunk liner for the Boxster and Cayman. It is a little cheaper at $109.95 than the liner from Porsche. It is not as tall as the one from Porsche but if you are interested in just protecting the bottom this should work just fine.

Thanks for the update. Also you can add a domed Porsche decal to replace the Weathertech sticker. I did this for my Audi’s trunk mat and it looks OEMJP4931 wrote: Tue Aug 17, 2021 4:30 pm Weathertech now offers a frunk liner for the Boxster and Cayman. So much nicer than the OEM Rubbermaid-ish waste receptacleJP4931 wrote: Tue Aug 17, 2021 4:30 pm Weathertech now offers a frunk liner for the Boxster and Cayman. Just when I thought I knew every possible way to spend a little more money on a Porsche, you tell me another one!BzzzBom wrote: Tue Aug 17, 2021 9:21 pm Thanks for the update. Yeah, the OEM one is nice when a bottle of wine breaks (like in my 2013 C2S,) but for just about all other use cases, this one looks way better - the OEM one actually takes up some room in the bottom of the trunk which drives me nuts.
I purchased the Porsche frunk liners for my former GT3 and current GT4 and they have served me well. Their depth allows more protection of the frunk carpeting than the very shallow appearing Weathertech liner, which looks more a mat than a liner. Also the Porsche liner comes in handy for removing a bunch of smaller items from the car.
I know I'll probably catch flak for this, but I like to spend my money on things that I can't get elsewhere or I can't make myself. For example, you can buy a 28qt bin with lid from Home Depot for $13, trim the front lip to fit, and have a perfect fit for far less that Suncoast's $179 liner. It may not be as pretty as Suncoast's, but it has a lid, serves the same purpose (protect the frunk), fits perfectly, and cost me less that 10% of the Suncoast liner so I'm thrilled. Now I have extra money to fill up with Premium Top Tier gas!

I'm with GT3Ed. The Porsche liner is tall and holds a lot of stuff. At the track in the paddock, I can simply lift the liner out and put it in my truck or on the trailer and I am ready for the track, clutter free.

I agree. I've seen many track day Porsche guys doing the same thing with their Porsche liner tubs.scottoconnor wrote: Mon Nov 28, 2022 10:05 am I'm with GT3Ed. Of course to protect gear from inclement weather there is this dry bag from Filson which is my track day buddy. Not cheap but it's tough, versatile and does the job.
