That sounds like a recipe for massive mid range through minimal torque lag and should flow just enough for whatever an 8V head with the 9R cam can offer with the stock inlet and IC. You don't mention the exhaust but I'm sure you will use nothing smaller than 3".SirLapsalot wrote: Thu Mar 06, 2025 9:59 amWhat do you guys think about the G30-660 with 0.83 A/R for an 8V 3.0L running 1-1.3 bar of boost?
3.0 16V engine mods, etc

I can cleap up a used K26/6 if you want. Painting the compressor housing red will get you more power. $10.

he is a map for the Tial set up i use for 3.0 street
figuring a 1.5 bar of boost at 6500prm you will be in the 83% efficiency range.
At 1 bar, 3500 you are down to 82% efficiency.
So its got you covered at both ends of the performance range.

Putting several exhaust vents in the hood really helps get things moving the right direction in regards to messing with inner bumper flow paths on the 951 if it’s a street car then there’s very few tasteful looking paintable options for this….
That’s a really efficient compressor map.
First I have seen in the 80%.
I may just have to add one from you to one of my builds.
That of course will have to go with your cam time machine piece you made and I will guess a Link of some configuration.
Still going to do a twin scroll but that the plus side of having so many engine blocks now.

If you offered that with a Vband crossover and downpipe package you'd have my attention.chris white wrote: Fri Mar 07, 2025 2:37 pm
