Hi,

This site has been great helping me find answers to questions and members posting ideas. Well I have two more questions.

My car has a rough and hesitates some until warmed up. Once warm the car runs fine. I checked the DME temp sensor and the resistance checks in range both cold and warmed up. I looked for a vacuum leak and didn’t see any, however there could still be one. It was suggested to unplug the O2 sensor and see if that makes a difference. I did that and it seemed slightly worse although I didn’t drive it much. When I was checking the O2 sensor I noticed a few things. There was actually 2 fittings on the pipe for a sensor however one had just been capped off and not connected. I’m thinking that maybe when someone went to replace it they broke it off and just drilled and welded another in??? I’m not sure so I figured someone on here will know. The O2 sensor installed doses plug into the factory harness. I’ll post a few pics of it.

The other thing I notice was a tube that wasn’t connected to anything. It’s the pic with the part that has a blue cap. Looks like a dipstick tube to me.

That’s again for any help.

The 2nd port was a "sampling port" for analyzing exhaust gasses. Mine is capped off and I removed the dipstick like tube when I did the rear cam housing gasket.

Looks like you discovered the same thing I did -- that a lug nut is a perfect cap for that port!
