Carpokes has a very similar ethos to the PCA, so it's a great fit! In honor of your arrival, I used your car as the forum car for our 996/997 forum. I had to take some liberties with it to fit into the tiny format, and will likely rotate it with overs over time, but wanted to make sure you felt welcome in the meantime. --Tom

Excellent photograph! The action and the light are awesome.

I don't know if your color is the same as Vesuvius Gray Metallic (a PTS color), but I think it may be and if so there are no actual photos of any Porsches in that color at PCA's Rennbow Color site. Your pic would be a great addition there.

The gray reference threw me off so thank you for the clarification!

I thought the purplish cast in your picture might somehow be due to different lighting, such as an odd colored sky. It's interesting that Rennbow describes your color as one whose appearance is highly dependent on the lighting, so the chameleon-like description probably fits quite well. I like it!
