Hi All,

I will be installing the third radiator kit on my 911 GTS. The Turbo S and GT3 comes stock with this. Also, any of the regular and GTS 911 that are sold in hot climates has the third radiator already. This is an OEM Porsche kit, that sits in the center of the front bumper. Has anyone done this mod before? Anyone has instructions on how to take the front bumper?

I'm going to take pictures and will try to do a video of the install; in case someone wants to do the same mod to their 911, once I get the correct parts. I got the kit, that I ordered about a year ago. The radiator came broken and they sent me the wrong front center grill. So, I sent the parts back, the correct grill is on its way, but the radiator does not have an ETA, yikes.

Thank you so much Tom. Once I take the bumper off, I should be able to tell where the parts go.

I did it on my 991.2 carerra t and it was a bolt on affair. Once you pull the bumper it goes together easily-just wait to connect the coolant pipes till the end to minimize coolant loss and reduce the chance for air pockets.

Did you have to bleed the system at all? The tech at Porsche said that I will have to bring it to bleed the system, they will have to use the computer to tell it to bleed? I've never heard of that, but also, I don't want to mess my car up, like overheating. I know there are bleeders out there that hold PSI for Porsches, don't which one is the best one.

I did not but I was prepared to have to get it done. What I did was bolt everything up and then quickly connected the hoses as the last step (blocked/punched off the higher hose and then connected the lower quickly) minimizing coolant loss. Then I quickly connected the higher end. I lost less than a quart all together. Then I topped off the res and started the car. After about a min of running I turned it off and let it cool-then topped off the res again. It’s been good for over two years with no issues.
