Hoosier's new A8, will a 275/30/18 fit?

I figure someone on here will be trying the new A8/R8 reasonable soon and I am wondering whether a 275/30/18 might fit on a Cayman/Boxster GTS with 9 inch front wheels. The reason I am asking is that the new tire no longer has a 255/35/18 and they fit fine on the front, even with just camber plates. The specs on the 275/30 are almost identical but many of us have found over the years that there can be discrepancies in what is listed by Manufacturers. I am not worried about the 295/30/18 since I was running them in the past with the A7. I imagine an autocrosser might answer first and there are some folks already using the new tires and I hope they post their impressions on this site. Thanks for reading and if the new tires are as sticky but last a bit longer many of us will be happy since Purple Rubber is X-pensive!!!!!

Have run Hoosiers on an off for years and am hoping the A8/R8 are as much of an improvement as the A7/A7 were over the previous 6 model. With the highs having been single digits for the past few days in the Midwest I figure someone in a warm clime will try a 275/30/18 earlier than those around here so I figured why not drop a line with all the friendly folks at Carpokes?
Thanks for the response J-Dub as well as all your help in the past.
